IN and Mary Ann Jackson b. 16 Sept 1841 Franklin Twp., Owen Co.IN d. 4 June 1924 Freedom, Franklin Twp., Owen Co. IN. By Williams own admission in his Civil War papers, he didn't know for sure what his date of birth really was, but thought it to be somewhere close to the date above.

IN d. 16 Sept 1994 Ellettsville, Monroe Co.IN, setting on the lap of Mary Ann.

3. Great Grandmother Mary Ann Jackson Scott b. 16 Sept 1841 d. 4 Jan 1924. Her parents were Andrew Jackson and Eliza Elliott. She lived her whole life in the Freedom, Franklin Twp., Owen Co.IN area. Married to William W. Scott, they raised a family of eleven children. This was taken on 7 Sept 1900 at the wedding of her Granddaughter, Clara May Scott.
