EDNA ANDERSON
"Owen Co. Leader Newspaper" - 29 Sept 1977
Edna Anderson, 86 year old Gosport route 1 resident, died September 24 at Putnam County Hospital. She was born at Quincy April 29, 1891, daughter of George and Mary McCullough Murphy. Her husband Jewel died in 1973. Survivors are a son Harold of Gosport route 1, half brother Willard Beaman of Chicago, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was a member of the Salem Methodist Church. Rev. Fred Brooks officiated at the funeral Tuesday at Whitaker Funeral Home in Gosport. Interment was in Hudson Hill Cemetery.

"Poland Pickings"
C. Genard of Needmore was at Poland last Saturday to attend the funeral of Mrs. James Anderson. Mrs. James Anderson departed this life January (illegible) and her remains were interred in the Presbyterian Cemetery January 16. Relatives and friends have the sympathy of this community.

VINCENT ANDERSON

VINCENT ANDERSON, of Quincy, died Wednesday morning about 6 o'clock. Mr. Anderson was in Spencer last week and had a severe cold at that time. When reminded by his friends that he should be careful or he might have pneumonia he passed the matter off lightly. His wife and three sons survive him.
