ASHER CONDITIONS

This cemetery sits about 5 miles north of Gosport. However, it is up on an embankment so if you are not looking up, you will not see it as there are no real noticeable stones to the front of the cemetery. This is a rather steep embankment and requires somewhat careful climbing although it is only about 3 feet tall. There are few graves there and no grass. There has been in the past massive vandalism and there is even one grave that has the cement enclosure above ground. There are few stones that are readable or in good shape, two of those are of Andrew and Elizabeth (Fain) Evans.
