HOPEWELL-COFFEY CEMETERY
CLAY TOWNSHIP
This information from Debbie Drescher and it originally appeared on the site for Indiana Pioneer Cemeteries and Restoration Project.
I know of a cemetery that is no more, but I can't find what the name of it.
The cemetery "was" located by the road near a small grove of trees, in Clay Twp., section 13, Owen County, IN until several years back when a farmer let his livestock in the area. We always called it the Baxter Cemetery "only" because the farmer that owned the land and allowed it to be destroyed was named Baxter. As to the real name of it, I don't know.
