AGED RESIDENT DEAD- John Carpenter
Owen County Democrat, July 27, 1924 p. 5.
John Carpenter, 91 years old, died at his home near Abel, Sunday, following a paralytic stroke. Mr. Carpenter was well known, having been a resident of Clay Township for many years. Funeral service were held Tuesday afternoon and interment was in the Troy Cemetery."
