Constitutional Members 1858-1863

The following is the oldest list of members of the Alaska Church occurring immediately after the "Constitution" in the original record book, and dated December 29, 1858. Further history and comments are taken from the minutes of the clerk.
(The term "by letter" means that this person transferred to/from another church with a letter of introduction.)To explain some of the people "going to"-- in 1859 the Olive Christian Church was formed- then in 1873 the Montgomery Chapel Church was formed. As Alaska Christian Church covered such an area, in many instances these new churches were closer to home for some members.
