This cemetery is also known as SNYDER. This cemetery is not listed in either Greene or Owen counties. The county line runs through the cemetery. It is located on the south side of the village of Vilas in section 34.

The above stone is a sandstone out of the creek, marked off with a picture of an open bible carved on it.
The people who are buried here are connected with both Owen and Greene County. They migrated here from Pensylvania and Maryland through Ohio. There are 4-5 military stones. Most of the stones are broken and have fallen over. it is a large cemetery. There are at least 10 unmarked graves and probably more.
