Engineers
This page updated October 4, 2005
I am not certain if the men stating that they were engineers were meaning railroad engineers or of the architectural nature. Many of them would be very specific to state "Railroad Engineer" and others would not, however some of the ones who didn't resided in boarding houses full of Railroad workers. I therefore decided to place all the men simply stating that they were "Engineers" together. Some of the engineering jobs were also stated as being in a factory. Where possible, I will specify. Judging from the young ages of some of the men, I suspect that the majority of these were Railroad Men.
