EAPHA R. SHEER EVERHART, youngest daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Sheer, was born October 29, 1851 in Coshacton county, Ohio, and came to Owen county, Indiana with her parents in the year 1853, locating on a farm two miles west of Arney, Ind. where she spent the remainder of her life. She was united in marriage to WILLIAM S. EVERHART March 14, 1886. She was the mother of four children, Mrs. Daisy Wells, who preceded her in death September 26, 1917; Mrs. Stella Allen, of Newman, Ill., Fred and Earsy Everhart, of Worthington, Ind.
Besides three children, she leaves a kind and loving husband, two brothers, George and David Sheer, 12 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends who mourn the loss of a loving companion, mother and friend. A loving woman always ready to lend a helping hand.
She united with the church at this place during the ministry of Bro. Hughes some years ago. She has been a constant sufferer for over six years, but bore it patiently, never complaining and always thinking of the comfort and welfare of her loved ones, patiently awaiting the call of her Master. She passed away at the home of her son, Earsy, September 11, 1918, at the age of 66 years, 10 months, and 12 days. Posted by Kathy Bargerhuff
