Several years ago, one of our visitors made an inquiry Indiana State GAR Chapter regarding her ancestor whom she had a photo of in his GAR uniform. Although she didn't receive any information regarding him..she did receive the following letters and kindly submitted them to our site for others. There are numerous county names contained here, the documents are hand written and some of the men added the units they served in.

I am attempting to compile another page on our site placing all Owen county men into their perspective units. This will however take some time to complete so revisit it often.
