High School Commencement Friday Night

Gosport High School Class of 1934

Address Will Be Delivered by Rev. Ray Montgomery of Vincennes

The 55th annual commencement exercises for a graduating class from Gosport High School will be held tomorrow night at eight o'clock at the school gym.

The Rev. Ray Montgomery of Vincennes wil deliver the address and diplomas will be presented to twenty graduates by County Superintendent L.H. Moore.

The program for the occassion has been arranged as follows:

The class holds a record in that it is larger than usual and has two sets of twins on its roll, William and Margaret Marley and Mina Jane and Minor John Stierwalt.

Baccalaureate services for the class were held last Sunday evening at the school gym. The sermon, an exceptionally powerful, well chosen discourse, was presented by Rev. DeGroot, pastor of the Christian Church. Songs were by a choir composed of choirs of the three local church and numbers of the graduating class. Invocation and benediction by the Rev. W. A. Hartsaw, pastor of the Methodist Church.
