EARL HARRAH, BROTHER OF MRS. SAM SMITH, DIES

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Smith and son, Ward, of R. R. 1, Spencer, returned home Sunday night from California, where they were called due to the serious illness of Mrs. Smith's brother, Earl Harrah, who she had not seen for thirty years.Mr. Harrah had suffered a second stroke and died a few hours before the Smith's arrived.Burial was in the Golden Gate National Cemetery, near San Francisco, on Thursday, June 30, after his death on Monday, June 27.
