The Iceman

Before the ice dealers came along with their massive tongs-- most of the people go their ice only in the winter time. Even at best, it can be seen that there weren't many of these dealers.Many persons used a cellar or the bottom of a well to keep items cool. In the winter an unheated room also worked nicely.
