Comes now Jacob McGinnis, Clerk, and reports to the Court, that heretofore, towit, on the 1st day of February, 1856, he granted letters of Administration on the estate of John Mercer, late of said county deceased, to Eli Mercer, and took bond in the penalty of $3,000.00, with Henry E. Cowgill as his security. It is therefore ordered by the Court that the granting of said letters and the taking of the said bond be approved, ratified, confirmed, and adopted as the act of this Court. And this cause is continued.
