Joseph Kerchner, son of John Kerchner, died Tuesday morning at his home near the Hancock school house. Death was supposedly due to consumption contracted in the lead mining districts of Missouri. The family returned from the west about a year ago brining the body of the daughter, Rose, who had succumbed to the same ailment.
