THOMAS STILLWELL LUTZ

Newman-- Thomas S. Lutz, 92, Newman, died at 10:20 p.m. Saturday (April 30, 1966) at the Maple Rest Nursing Home, Villa Grove. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at the McGaughey and Joines Funeral Home, Newman. Rev. David Babb officiating. Burial will be in the Fairland Cemetery near Villa Grove. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Lutz, a retired farmer was born December 25, 1873 at Cataract, Indiana, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lutz. He married Nettie Redman on December 25, 1895. Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Leora Bell and Mrs. Bessie Liffick, both of Brocton; four sons, Theodore and Leonard, both of Anna; Clarence of Danville and Raymond of Elkhart, Ind; 37 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, one brother and one sister..
