Gosport Military Camp
Photo of the 23rd Regiment Indiana in Gosport-Camp Hughes.
Thought to be just north of the main town. Although initially thought to be of the
Civil War era, a postcard recently found labels this photo to be from 1912; so perhaps
this was just prior to the First World War.

World War One Photo
Battery A 25th Artillery at Camp McClellan WA Nov 27th, 1918. My great-grandpa, Verla C. Truax, is believed to be on the far right side (possibly the 2nd row, third man). His brother is somewhere on that side of the photo, possibly in the row just above Verla. I imagine other people from Owen County might also be in this photo as well.
DEBBIE'S NOTE: (I made this photo very large so identification can be made on all the men's faces.)
