Her father died when she was young. She married 15 Jan 1854 in Owen County Indiana. She lived with the
John Arney ( 1797 NC to 1869 Iowa) family after her mother's death probably before 1850 (by family tradition) and married
John's son, Andrew. There may be court records or family information on her parent's names. Some people are of the belief that she was the daughter of John Mosier and Teletha Waggoner. I have researched their records and found their Elmira to be a different person with a different husband and children having died long before my Elmira-
not the same person as my great great grandmother.
