Nancy White; 4 years ago I had no idea that she existed. At first in our researching it was mainly a correspondence relationship of courtesies extended in replying to posted queries. We then found that we connected through the Baldwin lineages. Together since then we have laughed, been frustrated and completely confused....together. Last year, we decided not to be satisfied with just our own Baldwin lineage, but to try to piece together all of the Baldwin surname who migrated to Morgan, Owen, Putnam, and Tipton counties in Indiana--which led us to Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois. We never truly expected that, I think we both felt it would be much easier then it has become. It has now become a passion to where sometimes I think we truly forget that we KNOW what happened to our direct ancestors and we don't really need to do this. It is really great though to have someone to tell whenever I find a "possible"... and she gets just as excited as I do.
