NOVEMBER 1834 TERM

At this term Isaac Heaton and Amasa Joslin who had been appointed to ascertain the condition of the County Library fund, made their report. Amongst other items they report that at the second sale of lots, amounting to $2402.06 1/4, they were paid for in county orders, which were afterward redeemed at 50 cents on the dollar. By this it seems that there was some bad financiering about this time.

Delana R. Eckels resigned his office as Justice of the Peace.
