Old Goss Cemetery

Location:Wayne township

This cemetery is located about 1/3 mile southwest of Gosport, Wayne Township, Owen County, Indiana. The cemetery is on land originally entered by Ephraim Goss who was the founder of Gosport. The cemetery is located the SE 1/4 of section 31 which is now owned by Erskine Hoadley. The cemetery can be easily reached and is fairly visible from a distance in that it rest on top of a small hill.This cemetery now sits on private property and can only be accessed by the permission of the owners of the land.
