Peddlers
This page updated November 5, 2005
Peddlers were men who sold merchandise on a door to door basis. Many of the men specified what they were peddling; but some of them didn't. I will make note of the specifications if I can find them. Even if our ancestors didn't buy anything from the peddler, he was normally a wealth of community news.
