Recently I was contacted by Sue Wilcox, she offered to send me the members of
the Pleasant Bethel Church during the 1960's as well as some of the names of
the ministers. I gladly accepted.
She also provided the following information--

   This church was affiliated with Freedom Methodist Church and usually some of 
the members from up there would come to Pleasant Bethel and sometimes we would go 
up there.  We had many church suppers, Christmas and Easter programs, and a Fourth 
of July celebration that many people in the neighborhood and Worthington would come 
to.  Also in the Worthington Times newspaper there was some old church history about 
many grass fires and the church members (Dean Jean) would either have to fight the 
fires or re-build some part of the church.
His father-in-law Franklin Delano Fulk was responsible for some of the history and 
founding father of this church.
If anyone has knowledge of someone I left out, please get in touch with me, it was 
not intentional.

Church list during the 1960's  
Ministers were-- 
Tom Osbon, wife Katherine Myers and daughter Nan, 
the one after him was named Jack, do not remember his last name 
and the last one was Ed Jernigan, and I believe he was single.
I think the church was closed sometime in 1972.  
And I did not mean to leave anyone out, this is a list of people that came regularly.  
There were many people that came from the neighborhood.  
Names in parenthesis was their maiden name.
