MRS. JAMES (ELLEN) RISDON

Mrs. James Risdon of Clay Township, Owen County, and who was a resident of this place fifteen or twenty years ago and prominent in Sunday School and church work, died last Tuesday, aged about 50 years. Mrs. Risdon was a faithful member of the Baptist Church and an estimable lady in every respect, and her death is an irreparable loss to her family and the community. Mrs. Risdon was the mother of Mrs. Wayland Coffey and Mrs. Hank Ritter.
NOTE--According to the Monroe County (IN) Death Record Index, Ellen Risdon was born March 16, 1832, and died February 23, 1892, and was buried in the Bethel/Coffey Cemetery in Section 18, Richland Township. James died on March 29, 1905, and was buried in the same cemetery
