30-DAY SICK LEAVE

Sgt. Fredrick Marcellus Medaris arrived in Spencer last week to enjoy
a 30-day sick leave with home folks. Sgt. Medaris was recently awarded
the Purple Heart, having been wounded on the island of Saipan.
He is a member of the Marines.
