Lizzie Stimpson was born September (difficult to read) 30, 1852 (last digit difficult to read), and died at her home in Ellettsville, February 12, 1892. Nov. 1876, she was united in marriage with George W. Fletcher. To them were born two children; one died in infancy. Edna with her father are left to mourn the absence of mother and companion. She lived a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal Church for about 27 years, having joined them about twelve years old. She was a loving daughter and an affectionate wife for fifteen years and a kind and indulgent mother. Lived in peace with all, and was highly esteemed by all who were acquainted with her.
