Tanners and Curriers

Both of these occupations dealt with working with the hides of animals. They treated them and tanned them making them usable for other items such as shoes,boots, saddles or harnesses. I assume that there is a slight distinction between these two trades, but they both essentially perform the same basic tasks. One mainly "tanned" the hides and the other "cured" them.
