Both of these soldiers were killed at Gettysburg, Pa on July 2, 1863 and both are buried in Owen County, although in different cemetaries.


First is Sgt. John Troth of Vandalia
Second is Isaac Norris of Particksburg
 
John's brother William went to Gettysburg and brought back the bodies of both soldiers.
 
Isaac is buried in Patricksburg (I am not sure which cemetary) I have pictures of his grave and John is buried in a Vandalia cemetary.
