FLORA (LUCAS) ULRICH

Flora Alice Ulrich was born near Jordan Village on December 19,1874, the daughter of Isaac and Susannah Query Lucas. On April 6, 1892, she was united in marriage with Samuel Ulrich, who preceded her in death February 3, 1957, To this union were born nine children, of whom one son, Dewey, preceded her in death in July 1929. She spent all her life except the last 3 1/2 years near Jordan Village (Indiana), devoting her life to her family and church. She passed away March 11, 1958, at the home of her daughter. Clara, in Washington, California at the age of 83 years, 2 months and 20 days. She leaves to mourn her passing the children, Ada Cassida, Patricksburg; James, Poland; Claude, Waterman, Illinois; Forrest, Terre Haute; Vernia Dalton, Clay City; Cleatis, Washington, California, a foster daughter, Omadean Stevens, Indianapolis; a sister Anna Williams, Indianapolis, (and) 26 grandchildren and more than 40 nieces and nephews. .
