AMANDA (HALBERT) VICKERY
(Amanda resided in the Little Mount community until about 1880 when she migrated to Oregon with the family; her father was a deacon at Little Mount Church)
Amanda and a twin sister, Miranda, daughters of William and Ann HOLBERT, were born near Quincy, Indiana, October 26, 1862. Miranda departed this life at the age of eight and one-half years. When Amanda was 7 years of age her parents moved into the Little Mount neighborhood, where she lived until February 14, 1888, when she was united in marriage to Paris E. VICKERY, of Whitaker, Indiana. To this union was born one son, Cecil E? VICKERY. She also leaves three grandchildren, Iris, Evelyn and Lee, and one great grandchild, James Ross WILLIAMS, the husband and one sister.
