Wheelwrights many times worked hand in hand with the wagon makers. The wheelwright was the man who used his craftmanship to fashion the wheels for the wagons and buggies. In later years, these men were replaced by factories such as the spoke factory in Greencastle that produce wagon wheels. These men of course repaired wheels as the need arose.
