Mahala (Johnson) Ooley, was born in Greene County, Ind., June 31, 1845.
From Green he came into Owen County in the year 1866, and remained
about six years, going to the state of Missouri in the year 1872.
After a few months stay in the latter State, he pushed on into Arkansas,
and from there came back to Indiana, and with exception of two years
spent in Washington Township, has since resided in Clay.
