Asher School was located approximately in the southeast corner of section 32 in Harrison township.Given the vast number of Asher's in the area, it would be only guessing to surmise whose land this school was built on. At least 3 of my great uncles attended this school. Two of them worked after school as janitors for a few years. Until they started using a bus for kids going to school; there were 4 grade schools in Harrison township--each school had 8 grades.

After busing, they maintained 2 schools, one with grades 1 through 4 and the other grades 5 through 8
